The Last of the Foundry Men

Meet foundry man Bob Wright, also my dad, as he breaks from his taciturn humdrum and through just two evocative photographs he recollects with vivid description yet melancholy anecdote as being a skilled Black Country foundry man.

Recorded over the xmas break, I want this excerpt to be reworked with new footage, interviews and archive for a worker’s heritage documentary titled The Last of the Foundry Men.
